It Is A Granddaughter!

She is due April 12, 2010!

The ultrasound was the coolest thing I have ever seen! So different than the ones I had when I was pregnant 23 yrs ago with this daughter who is having this baby girl.

Can you see her little nose? This is the profile of her head. Her little feet and hands were so cute and she never stopped moving, which was just like her mom! LOL

Of course had to go baby shopping after the ultrasound and now my head is going 90 to nothing of baby quilt ideas and little knitted sweaters and booties. :)

How wonderful for all of you! You know I love my Gatlin to pieces (You need a grandson next go around. They are a real kick in the pants for amusement value. lol!) but I'm thrilled to have 2 little granddaughters, too. I get all misty eyed when it comes to the whole "passing it on to the next generation" thing. And there is so much more, better, sweeter little girl stuff than there was when our girls were little. You are in for SO MUCH fun! And, BTW, April is a wonderful month for a new baby. My own birthday is April 11. Sometimes it even falls on Easter Sunday. That is always fun, too.

Sooo....what will you be called? I'm partial to Grammy myself. There were already too many Grandma's in our family when my turn came, so Grammy it is for me.

Kim in KY, but I'll answer to Grammy, too. lol!
